This position holds significance in enhancing the operational efficiency of the Regional Hub's supply chain by ensuring the seamless movement of goods upon receipt. It involves collaborating with various stakeholders, such as third-party logistics providers (3PL), freight forwarders, and colleagues from other departments (supply chain and finance), to facilitate coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Manages everyday tasks related to order processing, supply chain coordination, and oversees the entire process to ensure successful order fulfillment.
- Assists in generating reports that capture essential supply chain performance indicators, facilitating in-depth analysis, aiding business management decisions, and executive-level choices.
- Collaborates with the Regional Hub Supply Planner on a monthly basis to ensure the replenishment of inventory for both BC and Dry Goods suppliers.
- Takes charge of maintaining transfer pricing procedures within JDE (JD Edwards) by establishing close collaboration with the finance team, brand companies, and other pertinent stakeholders.
- Updates JDE with the latest shipment arrival schedules in collaboration with BC and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Promptly identifies and communicates shipment delays to the supply planning team.
- Establishes communication with BC to ensure timely emailing of invoices and shipping documents before the PO (Purchase Order) cycle is initiated. Ensures all GIT (Goods in Transit) are processed into the system before shipment arrival and resolves any outstanding invoices before month-end closing.
- Provides assistance during the annual stock take process, reviews stock stake outcomes, and takes the lead in driving necessary actions with the 3PL partner.
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the 3PL partner adheres to agreed-upon standards. Introduces effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency, elevate quality benchmarks, and attain maximum cost savings.
skills & experience required
If you fulfill the following criteria, you are encouraged to submit your application:
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience in logistics operation
- Familiarity with Operations and various functions (Supply Chain & logistics, Finance and Business Analytics will be a plus)
Additional Information
- 6months contract with 0.5months bonus upon contract completed
- 7 days during the 6 months contract period
