Due to their accelerating growth and expansion, they are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join the team as a business partner, who is well-versed in labour relations and business partnering.


    about the job

    As the Manager for Business Partnering and Labour Relations, you will be involved in managing individual and collective relationships between the organisation and its workforce to achieve work harmony, productivity, and progress towards desired goals and objectives.

    • Engage and collaborate with the Line Managers to assess their business needs for manpower deployment and partner with them to develop and deploy preventive measures.
    • Provide Employee Relations support and guidance, thought partnership and coaching for all employees and levels of management in the organisation
    • Support the development of employee relations capability among people managers through education and training
    • Support managers and collaborate with HRBPs in building and managing a robust culture of managing performance and providing feedback to create a high performance culture
    • Manage and drive labour relations programmes through dialogue and collaboration with the union.
    • Participate and engage in union negotiations on union-related issues and handle disciplinary matters
    • Foster favourable labour relations with employees and union leaders through dialogues, discussions and employee engagement activities.
    • Analyse collective bargaining agreement to develop interpretation of intent, spirit, and terms of contract.
    • Organise union-management meetings and annual union-management seminars.
    • Other duties as assigned


    about the manager/team

    Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will play an instrumental role in implementing favourable and best practice programmes to attract, develop and retain talents to the organisation and curate a strong pipeline for the organisation's future manpower needs.



    skills and experience required

    To be a successful candidate, you should possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline, with at least 8 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years are spent in Labour Relations, along with an excellent understanding and knowledge of Singapore’s employment law and regulations.
