In this position as a Manager for the Employee Benefits Operation team, you will be expected to oversee the onboarding & servicing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a high-performing team, handling escalations, resolving conflicts, and significantly contributing to process improvement and product development.
This position demands a strong focus on ensuring the team's quality deliverables and productivity while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. In this role, you will lead and manage the policy servicing & renewal team as well as the medical underwriting team.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal incumbent would need to come with relevant experience in Employee benefits, operation background and strong leadership experience.
skills and experience required
- 8+ years of group insurance/employee benefits/corporate insurance operation experience
- Leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Experienced with change management and transformation ideally
- Proficient in operations processes with a flair for optimizing workflows
- Detail-oriented and strong eye for detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
