about the job
As the Manager for Group Human Resources, you will be assisting in leading efforts to enhance and assist the integration of global talent initiatives with regional execution and serve as a critical interface with the regional operating units, in order to ensure seamless implementation of broad talent management programs as well as best practices sharing across regions to encourage consistent and effective talent management practices
- Partner closely with Group HR colleagues to formulate, evaluate and review effective talent management frameworks, programs, processes and interventions on the global talent pool
- Assists to plan and execute the annual global talent reviews and regional talent development council discussions
- Identify and access talent development trends and capability gaps to develop effective strategies in building and maintaining talent pipeline
- Develop and implement all phases of talent management, which encompasses succession planning, performance management, talent pipelines, career pathways design etc.
- Manage talent processes such as internal resourcing, STRIDE (short-term international development experience), Global Management Associate Program, Global Champion Awards etc.
- Assists in designing and facilitating talent engagement forums
- Ensure alignment across all business units by cascading talent frameworks and methodologies and implementing an integrated approach to talent management
- Provide counsel to business and HR leaders to develop regional/BU-level talent programs that are aligned with the organization’s strategy
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and visualization to support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement
- Evaluate and manage supporting talent technologies or systems
- Assists in driving and leveraging on Employer Branding initiatives to develop branding and outreach initiatives to enhance the firm’s brand presence & mindshare, review and execute policies, frameworks and processes for talent attraction, development and engagement
- Assists in facilitating workshops, team building events, organization development initiatives, campus engagement and employee relations events as and when required
- Facilitate and promote succession planning and talent mobility
- Support other HR initiatives and regional projects as required
about the manager/team
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Group HR directly, you will cover a broad range of global HR activities and projects, with a strong focus in developing effective strategies and solutions aligned with Talent Management goals to achieve desirable outcomes which fosters overall talent development, retention and engagement. You will be working closely with external vendors, local HR and internal stakeholders across the region.
skills and experience required
To be a successful candidate, you should possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/ Business, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in cross-disciplinary talent management domain expertise – experience in 3 or more of the following areas: Talent Strategies, Talent Assessments, Succession Management, Workforce Analytics, Talent Management. You should possess working knowledge of current and emerging talent management tools and talent development aids, with the ability to work and manage HR projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
