My client is one of the largest global gamer ecosystem software company. They are looking for a goal-oriented marketing professional, you will be responsible for the development and execution of regional marketing strategy for the Asia Pacific (AP) and overseeing and managing the daily activities of the marketing department.

about the job

  • Development and execution of marketing, community, and Public Relation strategy for AP Region and its related entities and departments in AP
  • Manage communication, workflow and priorities of AP marketing, retail and online marketing, community and Public Relation teams with daily meeting and status updates while building process flow and marketing direction of AP teams
  • Gather, identify and prioritize functional and product requirements for AP market through feedback loop and product feature request and ideas
  • Supervise daily duties, process, communication, creative, budget and workflow of Public Relation, Retail Marketing, Marketing, E-sport, and Community functions
  • Development/approval of Marketing budgets and execution of Marketing and Public Relation programs within budget
  • Support the development of department budgets for Retail, Brand, etc.
  • Manage and/or collaborate with advertising agencies and public relation firms to achieve AP’s marketing, community and Public Relation goals
  • Direct AP involvement in various co-marketing activities including coordinating business and marketing development with AP companies
  • Continually evaluate owned websites, online activities and community spends; report on the effectiveness of the activities and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of the organization
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity
  • Develops and manages marketing operating budget

skills and experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of working experience
  • Good understanding of the gaming market, with a minimum of 5 years marking experience within the industry
  • Personal management skills with a minimum of 3 years managing a team
  • Marketing strategic thinking and analytical abilities
  • Proactive hands-on and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with various internal departments, such as creative development, marketing, legal, sales, and remote international team
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
