Job description

Reporting to the GM based in Singapore, you will get to be responsible to lead and drive category growth to support the firm's business goals. You will get to develop and implement marketing, trade marketing plans and activities to activate the division’s marketing, brand, channel and/or product strategies and plans and you will get to work closely with key decision makers. You will have overall responsibility for assigned brands and driving product launches.

Brand Management

  • Develop, manage & implement the annual 360 marketing plan and activities for assigned brands and manage assigned A&P budget and allocate to different marketing activities
  • Work closely with healthcare, institutional and retail channels to build awareness and manage product launch process according to the agreed plan and within the assigned budget for the area of responsibility
  • Ensure accurate logistic forecast on country, channel and product level for product launches.
  • Develop and/or implement promotions and corresponding support materials in collaboration with other stakeholders

Trade marketing

  • Identify, develop and lead Category Management plans to win with prioritized customers in the online channel, i.e explore, develop and execute activity plans (promotional, BTL Marketing) to develop a competitive advantage for the group across all online retailers
  • Ensure that Trade Marketing provides regular Channel insights and Shoppers Trend to support Sales in driving effective execution of the channel plan across both Modern Trade and General Trade

Consumer, competitive and market analysis

  • Leads in analyzing category trends; encompassing market, consumer, product and competitors and recommend changes to marketing strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Drive profound consumer understanding to develop concepts that can better address consumers’ needs and attitude in our products, services or communications
  • Guide and add value to the team in analyzing and drawing insights from all available data and how it impacts the business moving forward

The successful applicant

    • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline
    • Minimum 8-10 years of FMCG Marketing / Medical / Health Care industry with strong marketing background
    • This is a people management role, i,e Brand Manager, Brand Executive and Assistants.
    • Must have a strong understanding and familiar with government tender process
    • Knowledge of basic Trade Marketing is an added value. At least 2 years in a leadership / people management position
    • Exposure to leading partnerships with external agencies
    • Being a commercially driven Marketer is fundamental in this role.
