about the job
In this role, You need to have strong analytical skills, self-motivated and responsible for the following
Key responsibilities
- Prepare production schedule and prioritize work orders
- Ensure plan vs actual are achieved (SAP/MII monitoring)
- Effectively manage the entire process of material planning, production planning, and inventory control
- Liaise with the operations team to ensure all quality hurdles are removed
- Participate in and analyze forecasts of demand fluctuations and analyze it impact on customer orders and material support
- Review production backlog and recovery
- Coordinate closely with internal production, assembly planners, buyers to clear overdue backlogs or develop alternative plans to meet customer requirements
skills & experience required
- You are welcome to apply if you meet the following requirements
- Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or a similar role
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge to build up statistical data modelling
- Experience with EMS industry is an advantage
- Familiar and experienced in advanced software such as word, excel, & SAP or similar ones
