about the job
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand the customer requirements and provide engineering solution
- Produce drawings and design documentations on mechanical design
- Responsible in checking that the Bill of Material is updated for the manufacturing team
- Work closely with manufacturing team during assembly of the generators and assist to ensure smooth flow in the production line
- Participate in the testing and validating design, including measuring airflow, vibration profiles and temperature of the equipment under test
- Produce the test validation reports for discussions.
- Build good understanding of generator in terms of cooling system, fuel system and associated industry standards
- Support application engineer on installation enquiries to ensure generators optimized performance
- Involvement in continuous improvement projects focusing on work efficiency and costs savings
- Provide technical assistance to After-sales and QA department
job requirement
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge in CREO Cad tool would be an additional advantage
- Willing to work in the West (Jurong/Pioneer/Joo Koon)
