about the job

As the highest level of leadership in Medical Affairs, you will be responsible to develop and implement external liaison strategies and clinical education programmes across Asia-Pacific region. You will serve as the "go-to" personnel for scientific information and application regarding your designated product portfolio, and work alongside marketing and commercial teams to drive clinical adoption of your products. In this matrix organisation, you will closely partner with country commercial leaders and gloabl medical affairs team.

  • Develop education programmes and conduct training to internal commercial and medical functions
  • Partner with country business leaders to align medical affairs strategies with commercial objectives
  • Indirectly lead and manage regional medical affairs teams and affiliates to ensure implementation of programmes
  • Develop medical strategy across business areas; collaborate with commercial team to identify medical priorities, formulate and implement medical plan
  • Network with medical society, identify and profile high-tier KOLs, and organise scientific collaboration and engagement programmes
  • Deliver scientific talk in medical conferences to disseminate the company’s latest research output, product release, and scientific evidence
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to support companion diagnostic opportunity
  • Identify evidence gap and initiate clinical study accordingly

Depending on your preference, you could be based in Singapore or other countries within Asia Pacific.

skills and experience required

  • Degree and above in Medicine, Pathology, or Biomedical Science; Doctorate qualification will be an added advantage
  • 10 years+’ working experience in In-Vitro Diagnostics, Laboratory Operations, or Medical device industry
  • Excellent network with KOLs and regulatory bodies within Asia Pacific region; experience in Singapore / Australia / Japan highly desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of laboratory testing and diagnostics
  • Excellent medical writing skills and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
