about the company

A global pharmaceutical multinational with focus on central nervous system and oncology. They provide comprehensive healthcare solutions ranging from diagnosis to treatment of disease. Apart from CNS and oncology, they also have product in cardiovascular system, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, diagnostics, and I.V. solutions and medical devices businesses.

They are looking for an MSL to be part of their rapid growth in Singapore.

about the job

You will be responsible for providing external and internal customers with clinical, scientific, and health economic information related to the appropriate utilization of the client’s CNS products portfolio. This field-based position will proactively build healthcare provider, population health decision maker and patient support.

The MSL will need to be a credible and valued representative of the company in a variety of interactions with key stakeholders in Singapore.

Representing the assigned product to the highest ethical and professional standards and in accordance with guidelines and direction across all customers

Demonstrate proficiency in topics beyond scientific exchange such as value / cost of care discussions, hospitalizations, risk of progression, drug pricing pressures, reimbursement education,; actively attend and participate in upskilling training programs.

Assisting with Phase II - III - IV clinical trials, health economic outcomes research, other clinical studies and investigation; providing clinical expertise and feedback regarding operational management that effectively and efficiently guides clinical trials, other studies, and investigations

about the manager/team

Reporting to the Singapore General Manager, you will be a sole contributor working closely with the sales team, RA/PV team as well as the marketing team.

skills & experience required

Armed with an advanced Clinical/Science Degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MSN, MPH, etc.), you should possess GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and ICH (International Conference on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use).

Ideally, you should have a strong grasp of Phase IV / post marketing drug development.

Minimum of 5 years related work experience (clinical, managed care, or industry experience) with prior experience as a field medical science liaison preferred
