about the job

In this role, you will be responsible of:

  • Apple Device Management:
    • Provide suppot for any issues that may affect Mac devices.
    • Provide support related to remote distribution of packages.
    • Provide level 1 and 2 upport to users regarding Mac product.
    • To evaluate and apply any neccessary operating system security patches, hotfixes, service packs and hardware updates.
  • Network Administration
    • Ensuring the school ICT network functions efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the school and it users.
    • Maintain a network topology map for all active equipment and proactively monitor network equipmentfor fault or other services affecting conditions.
  • System administration
    • Perrform regular systems maintenance function with respect to operating systems and application patches, hot fixes, software updates and new releases.
    • Implement proactive security measures such as antivirus software.
    • Implement operating systems, service and application logging to record connection attempts, authentication results, network inteface statistics and unusal events.
    • Disable or delete expired or dormant accounts.
  • Technical Support
    • Prodivde system and applications support.
    • Conducts preventive work on computer, services and firewalls.
    • Cnofiguration, manage and maintain hardware and software including implement back up processes and assess system for upgrades or replacement.
  • Project Management Support
    • Determines project specification, studying product design, customer requirement and performance standards.
    • Manage and report the status of project schedules, scopes and budget in a timely manner.

skills and experience required

  • At least Bachelor in IT or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Apple device management
  • Good to have apple certification and any other network related certification.
  • Strong knowledge in Apple Macintosh platform such as iOS, MacOS.
  • Strong knowledge in Jamf Pro MDM platform.
