job description

about the company
You will be a part of a large MNC who are currently doing a large network implementation due to the expansion of the business. As a result of this, they are seeking a Network Consultant to be part of their Singapore operations. This is a newly created role.

about the job

You will work in an agile manner with the goal of improving DevOps maturity. Network Tooling creates and fully manage vital solutions and services to the wider enterprise networks teams and their customers. Solutions include but are not limited to monitoring and performance, automation/deployment, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, access/authentication, CI/CD tooling.

The activities will require you to interact with Product and Service Owners, Architects and fellow Engineers to develop enhancements and craft new products and services. The community of Architects focuses on what we need for the long-term, Service Owners work with partners to prioritize features and functions while the product squad engineers make it happen. Whether you report to a Service Owner or a more senior engineer, you enjoy working as a team to get the job done.

You will primarily focus on the development of new network tooling capabilities supporting the tooling vision and wider Network Transformation. This could include aspects of design, implement as code, operate, and enhance a suite of tooling solutions.

You will also be required to leverage your networking knowledge to troubleshoot particularly challenging incidents and problems with your services and plan larger-scale change activities.
