    about the job
    As an Office Administrator, you will be required to carry out a wide range of support and coordination activities to facilitate the smooth functioning of the business operations. Your job responsibilities include overseeing facilities services and maintenance activities, monitoring and replenishing office supplies with attention to budgetary constraints through the timely review of vendor engagements. You will also be expected to work with the management and HR team in coordinating workplace health and safety requirements, contribute to the organisation of internal and external events and be the subject matter expert in travel related matters, by managing relationships with travel agents and supporting travel coordination for the management team.

    Should there be any renovation and maintenance projects, you will be required to coordinate with the relevant vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely execution of renovation and maintenance projects and oversee maintenance works to ensure that contract service providers perform their contractual obligations.

    about the manager/team
    This position sits within the administration department. You will be managing a team of 5 members and report directly to the Global Head of Trading.

    skills and experience required
    The incumbent should be tertiary-educated and come with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in office management. To excel in this role, you should possess a high level of organisational and interpersonal skills so as to be able to work well independently as well as in a collegial team environment. Through a thorough knowledge of facilities best practices, office management and leadership capability, the office administrator should work to build an amicable relationship with the service providers and maintain an effective line of communication within the team so as to maintain a conducive work environment.

    The incumbent is also required to be resourceful and analytical in coordinating changes and recommending effective cost effective solutions to enhance the processes within the organisation.
