about the job
You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Singapore office and lead a team of Executive Assistants (EAs) based locally. Apart from managing the facilities and equipment of the local office, you will be the main point of contact for vendors, suppliers and contractors, and you will need to ensure that quality service levels are met by service providers who are based on-site, e.g. cleaning, catering and receptionists. You will be heavily responsible for the performance and talent management of the EAs, from performance appraisals and compensation reviews to ensuring the engagement of employees and handling any escalations when they arise.
about the manager/team
You will be reporting to an APAC Head based in Singapore, while leading and guiding a team of EAs.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 7 years of experience in office management in a dynamic environment and with strong supervisory experience in managing a team of experienced EAs. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders, along with strong people management skills to lead the EAs with confidence. Coming with prior experience in managing office projects, taking ownership in your work and demonstrating good judgement while working under pressure will contribute to your success in this role.
