about the company

The company is a renowned Japanese MNC with a solid global brand. This subsidiary is the commodities trading arm and the Singapore office is doing well with expansion plans.

about the job

This role is a newly created headcount due to company’s expansion. You will sit within the HR team but be responsible for administration matters such as managing relocation of Japanese colleagues to and from Singapore and Head Office in Tokyo, organizing and coordinate internal company events, as well as managing office vendors and outsourced service providers. You will also assist in learning and development by faciliating in training sessions when necessary.

about the manager / team

You will report to the Global Head of Human Resources and there are 3 other HR team members already in the department. You will manage a team of Receptionist, driver and pantry lady for office admin function.

skills & experience required

You should possess minimum 5 years of office management experience and prior exposure in learning and development is a good to have. As this role requires frequent communication with colleagues in the Head Office who may not be proficient in English, Japanese language skills is a huge advantage. The ideal candidate should possess a stable employment history, a good attitude, be a good team-player and a matured mindset.
