about the company

We are partnering with the world's largest producer of renewable diesel refined from waste and residues. They are industry innovators in the introduction of renewable solutions to the aviation and plastics industries. We are seeking Operating Engineers to join our client’s rapidly expanding team in Singapore.

about the role

  • Follow-up and developing process in responsible area
  • Working as specialist in Singapore refinery and providing support for operations and all other departments
  • Initiating and applying multi-discipline process design and control strategies in relation to processes and systems
  • Finding and resolve different process limitations and optimizing production
  • Ensure high utilization and availability
  • Act as change / steering manager in small optimization projects
  • Review proposals of the operating manuals, operating procedures
  • Facilitate / Participate in safety assessments e.g. HAZOP
  • Participate and constructively contribute in major investment projects
  • Develop operations KPI including recording, knowledge retention and follow up
  • Develop and follow-up operational guidelines
  • Review and approve process safety processes
  • Lead team on catalyst / absorbent change out
  • Leading operations towards an operational excellence culture (technical matters)

about the manager/team

Working as an individual contributor, you will report to the Process Improvement Engineer, responsible for assisting the development, optimizing, troubleshooting of plant process and equipment to achieve high operational utilization, availability, profitability, flexibility, process safety and total safety.



skills & experience required

  • Minimum Bachelor in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in oil refining and petrochemical industries
  • Strong interpersonal and planning skills
  • High safety standard and strong influencing skills
  • Good team player and positive thinking
  • Good communication and coordination skills and the ability to work in cross-functional, multiple disciplines environment.
