about the job

You will be liaising with key clients in the Japanese market, handling queries regarding data, payments and other issues. You will also be working closely with internal stakeholders to provide and explain data and answer queries. The role also involves liaising closely with the operations team to ensure the quality and timeliness of the data produced.

skills and experience required

  • As you will be liaising with key clients in Japan, in their native language, you must be able to speak, read and write Japanese to a business level
  • Experience in reinsurance operations or administration, and an understanding of the processes of a reinsurance business, would be preferred
  • Candidates from outside the insurance sector will also be considered if they have experience of handling clients in the Japanese market and a genuine desire to learn how an insurance business works
