about the company

My client design and manufacture of equipment, precision components. As a result of ongoing and continued success in both Singapore & internationally, they are recruiting for talented candidates to join them for their expansion.

about the job

  • Understanding of interaction mechanism between photons and materials under high power ultraviolet light exposure
  • Surface analytical and data analysis
  • Failure analysis while working closely with other engineering groups
  • Understands UV driven photo contamination, and implementation of control via materials selection, cleaning processes and purge control
  • Establish the reliability model of optics under certain UV radiation conditions
  • Conducting laser damage test and analysis

skills & experience required

  • PhD / Master in Applied Optics / Opticas / Physics / Condenses Matter Physics
  • Min 5 years of experienc in relevant job (research / hands on )
  • Analytical instruments: optical interferometer and other surface analytical techniques
    (GCMS, SEM, AFM) a plus
  • Strong knowledge on optics crystal and thin film optics coating technology
  • Strong fundamental knowledge in chemistry, material science and surface science
  • Experience in setting up optical bench for conducting opto-electronic measurements
