Our client is a successful and growing US MNC industry providing automation solutions for customers in commercial, industrial and residential markets. They are looking to hire an Order Engineering Manager to lead the Order Engineering team.

about the job

As an Order Engineering Manager (West/Manufacturing/Valves) your key tasks involve:

  • Supervising and leading Order Engineering team in reviewing all customer orders from both commercial and technical perspectives
  • Inventory Management – crafting clear workflow and training tools for Engineers
  • Review and oversee end to end order processes and ensure priorities are set right
  • Being knowledgeable and develop process improvements on the challenges faced by seeking various ways such as waste elimination, simplification or automation
  • In charge of reviewing team’s leave planning and arrange backup resources when required to ensure business continuity is maintained at a satisfactory level
  • Ensure compliance of workplace safety rules – report unsafe work conditions and be proactive in suggesting ways to improve safety / health at work as needed

skills & experience required

To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

  • Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in technical experience in valve industry
  • Strong initiative to execute responsibilities and ability to organize, develop and maintain good administrative system.
  • Willing to work in Western part of Singapore
