about the job


This position involves the administration of project orders from point of order entry to delivery including post order-related issues to meet/exceed customers’ expectations. It encompasses the entire spectrum of order execution such as order processing, vendor management, expediting and timely delivery of goods and documentation as stipulated in customer’s contract.


YOu will be accountable for the following:



  • Review incoming orders for completeness of documentation / commercial conformance and other documentation required for testing and delivery

  • Attend Kick-off Meetings with both internal and external customers

  • Responsible for day-to-day co-ordination of all aspects of order process functions with an eye for detail and accuracy. including order entry via SAP

  • Place orders with Company’s manufacturing plants located worldwide as well as with external suppliers and vendors

  • Be familiar with shipping documentations i.e COO, BOL, LC etc

  • Knowledge of end to end supply chain fucntions

  • Monitor and guide orders from procurement to shipment for on-time delivery

  • Primary contact for internal and external customers for orders status and materials availability

  • Coordinate with internal functions on assembly, testing, customer and/or third party inspection of products to ensure on-time delivery

  • Prepare and submit documentation in accordance with order/contract requirements

  • Handle and attend to any post order issues; non-conformance, warranty claims and resolution of customers’ complaints to ensure on-going customer satisfaction

  • Closely partner with warehouse & logistics department to resolve shipping-related issues



about the manager/team

You will be reporting into the Supply Chain & CS Manager of the business and work very closely with cross functional teams particularly in warehouse management, inventory, 3PL and supply chain. Not to mention, there will be regular interaction with both internal and external customers

skills and experience required



  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics Management or equivalent

  • Familiarity with SAP system will be an added advantage

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in the MNC environments

  • Resourceful and able to adopt good purchasing practices

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills and initiatives to resolve problems and meet customers’ expectations

  • Having strong sense of urgency, good follow-up and analytical skill

  • Ability to organize and maintain work procedures in a systematic manner
