Our client is market-leading Construction MNC, currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager/ Senior Executive to join the HR team.
about the job
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will manage all Payroll activities including but not limited to:
- Lead end-to-end monthly payroll processing for 800 headcount (mainly white collar) using payroll system, ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, employee data accuracy, process control improvements
- Manage payroll activities such as preparation and processing of payroll, including timesheet submission, salary cost allocation, staff transfer, new hires, termination
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, salary withholding, exit clearance pay etc
- Check, validate and ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissions for approval
- Craft, review, improve and update payroll related SOPs & workflow and policy
- Maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and processes
- Payroll reports, payroll consolidation and submission of CPF/SDL, IR8A and tax submission
- Payroll audits as and when necessary
- Participate & support in HR initiatives and HR projects
- Keep abreast with and ensure compliance to local statutory legislation

- Permanent role – entitled to bonus and benefits
- 5 day work week, Mon to Fri 8am to 6pm, Fri 8am to 5pm
- Office location: Central Singapore, walkable from MRT

- Immediately available/ short notice preferred but not a requirement
skills and experience required
- Relevant Diploma or Degree
- Ideally at least 8 years of experience in Payroll processing, handling end to end payroll
- Preferably have experience in handling over 500 headcount
- Knowledge in government laws and regulations e.g. Singapore Employment Act, CPF and IRAS statutory requirements
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
