Our client is market-leading Professional Services MNC, currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist (3 months temp) to join the HR team.
about the job
Reporting to the HR Lead, you will manage the full cycle of payroll activities including but not limited to:
- Checking of monthly payroll changes such as new hires, promotions, salary adjustments and transfers
- Process payroll for 800+ headcount – payroll instructions input/output, checking of payroll report from vendor, getting approvals for report and bank file
- Employee offboarding – tax clearance, stock options
- Monthly HR/ Payroll reports including headcount listing, salary reconciliation, variance reports, audit reports, HR data submission etc
- Manage internal stakeholders/ employee queries with regards to payslips, payment, stocks, cost centres allocation
- Yearly tax assessment, audits, bonus and biannual salary review cycle support
- Government claims to collate and send to outsourced vendor – paternity, maternity, childcare
- Any other ad hoc data information required by finance or upper management (e.g. salary, benefits and allowances)
- Quarterly stock options

- 5 day work week, possible hybrid/ flexi work arrangements
- Office location: CBD-Central, Singapore
- Immediately available/ short notice preferred but not a requirement
skills and experience required
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in processing end to end payroll
- Strong knowledge in MOM laws and regulations
- Experience in payroll processing for more than 500 headcounts would be advantageous
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills to manage relevant stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
