about the job
• Handle the full cycle of payroll processing for SG, Malaysia & Australia. It involves undertaking payroll calculation, performing payroll reconciliation, preparing payroll accounting, general ledger and reports, etc.
• Handling the payroll processing in compliance with the legal requirements
• Coordinate and prepare documentation and reconciliations for internal and external auditors
• Coordinate with various brands / departments on payroll related documents, such as sales commission, push money, overtime records, travel allowance, etc.
• Arrange approval for salary payment and ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately
• Prepare and submit monthly contribution reports
• Work closely with HR colleagues on personnel movement to ensure filing the tax returns on a timely manner
• Handle government paid leave claim submission
• Ensure the records are updated in the HRIS
• Handle all payroll matters and queries from employees on a timely manner
• Assist and support the HR Shared Services Centre on daily human resources operations while required

Reporting to the Payroll Lead, you will undertake the role of a Payroll Specialist and work alongside a team of 4.

skills and experience required
You will be Degree or Diploma qualified in HRM or related field of studies. Relevant payroll experience with Australia market is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You will be someone with excellent MS office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), meticulous and good with numbers. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who is well organized with the ability to work well in a dynamic, ever-changing and fast-paced environment. Applicants with no relevant experience but with the right mindset and attitude will also be considered.
