about the company

Our client is a global data-centre owner and developer who are expanding their Singapore team. This team manages projects across South Asia by working closely with their business partners and specialists in each of their country of operation.

about the job

As the business expands and projects are acquired (both brown and green field assets), your role is critical to ensure that projects are kept within budgets and delivery schedules. Managing the workflow for the projects, you will also maintain control over project Critical Path. Overseeing the procurement of the building materials and services, your ability to anticipate project requirements will help you succeed.

The other half of your role will be to design and implement risk management processes for the team, looking in the financial impact on the company when these risks are triggered. Evaluating these risks through risk assessment, you should be able to align the cost and legal implications to a value so that the team is able to prioritize the severity of each action.

skills and experience required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience with Construction Planning and Risk Assessment – ideally having delivered Data-Centre projects.
  • Familiar with real estate development cycle and has seen the full cycle of several projects.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Planning or related fields will be considered for this role.
