A leading organisation is hiring a permanent position of a Presales Architect (Network) as an integral part of their expansion plans.

about the job

• Providing pre-sales expertise in analysing client requirements which are aligned with the client’s infrastructure and business challenges.
• Collaborating with Solutions Architects to produce technical specifications for the solution’s systems integration requirements.
• Providing technical expertise to sales staff and customers through product demonstrations.
• Managing the scope of product pricing and RFP/RFI responses, assisting with decision to accept or reject a deal.
• Driving client POC initiatives, which require appropriation of resources, as well as the setup and delivery of the POC.
• Applying appropriate design standards and methods that are consistent with the agreed enterprise and solution architecture.
• Providing detailed and specific advice regarding the application of their specialism to the planning and operations processes.
• Contributing to the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 8 years of Presales networking experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a Network engineer or Network consultant or systems engineer/administrator
• Proven track record in presenting technical solutions to non-technical audiences
• Proven track record as a developer and architect of new systems/solutions
