about the job
This role involves a mix of technical and business responsibilities. You will need to collaborate with various teams within the organization, including the cloud principle, business development, application, and security teams. Your key responsibilities include:
- Technology trend analysis and Product Go-To-Market feasibility study: You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and identifying how these trends can be applied to the company's products. You will work with the cloud principle to assess the feasibility of the proposed products and develop go-to-market strategies.
- Sales messaging and value proposition development: You will work closely with the business development team to compose sales-ready messages and value propositions that resonate with potential customers. You will need to understand the customer's pain points and explain how the proposed solution can address those pain points.
- System architecture and project deliverables: You will need to collaborate with the application and security teams to understand their requirements and translate them into system architecture and project deliverables. This will involve creating detailed technical specifications and ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Proof of concept end-to-end: You will be responsible for developing proof of concept (POC) for the proposed solution. This will involve testing and validating the solution to ensure that it meets the customer's requirements.
- Technical and commercial proposal: You will need to create technical and commercial proposals for the tender process. This will involve working with the business development team to understand the customer's requirements and developing a proposal that meets those requirements.
- Tender response templates: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining baseline templates for tender responses. These templates will be used to respond to customer requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs).
- Proposed architecture feasibility and working state: You will be responsible for ensuring that the proposed architecture is feasible and in a working state. This will involve testing the architecture in a real-world environment and identifying any issues that need to be addressed.
- Project transition: You will work with the post-sale team to ensure a smooth transition from the project implementation phase to the maintenance and support phase.
Overall, your role will require a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and work collaboratively to deliver successful projects.
skills and experience required
As a successful candidate, you should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure. You should also at least have 3 years of experience in a Presales Solution architect role.
Good to have:
- Log analytic/SIEM related experience
- Knowledge on new security concept like landing-zone. This refers to the process of setting up a secure and compliant environment for deploying cloud resources.
- Experience working with SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management), SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), and federated RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) SSO (Single Sign-On). These are all critical identity and access management technologies.
- Understanding of mainstream security appliances, UTM (Unified Threat Management) devices, and IDP (Intrusion Detection and Prevention) products and solutions. This knowledge will be useful in identifying potential security threats and protecting the organization's assets.
- Knowledge on identity providers: useful in managing user identities and access to cloud resources.
- Understanding of OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) and Certificate Authority (CA) technologies. This knowledge will be useful in identifying and mitigating potential security vulnerabilities in web applications and managing digital certificates.
