Responsibilities:
- Push the capabilities of 3D printing by creating innovative mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions
- Lead the mechanical engineering group by reviewing the work and providing guidance to the team.
- Establish and continuously improve Mechanical Engineering standards and practices.
- Select, implement, and support Mechanical Engineering tools and infrastructure
- Select, contract, and manage engineering services providers and other technical suppliers.
- Protype new systems, mechanisms, test equipment, and research 3D printing challenges
- Support the sustained work for exciting and future products
- Defining product roadmaps, supply-chain strategies, department schedules, budgets, business processes, and KPI's.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years experience leading teams in the development of electro-mechanical systems in products
- Advanced skills and hands-on in design, and hardware selection and development
- Expert in SolidWorks design and Product Development Management
