In this position as a Product Development Manager, you will be expected to drive and assist the Head of Product on end to end product development cycle and engage relevant stakeholders to develop innovative product ideas and meaningful product proposition and solutions.
The ideal incumbent will be expected to conduct competitive analysis against similar products in the market, as well as researching for similar products in the region. In instances where there is limited product information available, product manager will need to engage reinsurance for experience sharing. The product manager may have to review regulatory guidelines and/or engage the regulators (eg MOH) to ensure that the proposed product design does not contravene with any guidelines.
