ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Customer Facing:

  • Major Action: Understands and practices the three major stages of sales & business development strategy: identification and evaluation of industry and market attractiveness; competitive differentiation analysis; target market selection using portfolio analysis and market mix planning. Consistently applies market data/research (if applicable) in the development of long-range, comprehensive frameworks that support accomplishing company’s goals. Be a product expert and full competency to deliver education, training, clinical support, product demo and sales presentation.
  • Predicts future scenarios based on market knowledge and uses this and experience to maximize competitive advantage
  • Anticipates and predicts overarching market/customer trends that transcend product categories, platforms, marketing segments and channels.
  • Consistently leads the development and execution of complex penetration plans across platform and/or market segments.
  • Engage with the Key Opinion Leaders in clinical and training activities, and champion the voice of customer initiatives.
  • Achievement of responsible country’s annual sales and profit objectives.



JOB DESCRIPTION

2. Distributor Competency Development:

  • Partner with the Distributors by delivering product support, product configuration, project planning and project execution.
  • Understands the distributorship strategies to establish sales & marketing goals and design efficient, executable programs.
  • Train distributors in delivering value selling. Together with the distributors in developing and ensure distributors fully adopting Sales Battlecards.

3. Supporting Regional Business Unit & Execute Marketing Strategies:

  • Lead and work with regional and global marketing to conduct appropriate trade-show programs, educational symposia and create the sales tools for assigned products
  • Be able to build a KOL program & strong relationships which meet the needs of the region
  • Develop a strategic sales & marketing plan for responsible region which prioritises the marketing mix of trade show activity, clinical education, and appropriate sales tools which is aligned with Global Strategic Marketing and the Global Business Plan.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree from an accredited university
  • Expert understanding of the business environment of the designated country
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in product & marketing and sales roles in Healthcare industry.
  • Experience in direct sales and distributor management
  • Track record of achievement of sales and market growth through leadership/teamwork with other company functions
  • Experience in nursing / healthcare desired
  • Product management experience



QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build excellent personal relationships at all levels, both internal and external
  • Fluency in verbal and written communication in English
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%; attend training sessions internationally
