    Our client is a global technology company focused in the manufacturing and supplying of automotive components. They provide solutions to the global automotive and commercial vehicle market and now have opportunities for an Engineering Assistant (Production) to join their team.

    about the job

    • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of production equipment.
    • Diagnose and repair faulty production equipment.
    • Track and manage production spare parts for the equipment.
    • Participant in problem identification and brainstorming of resolution.
    • Support engineers in their engineering evaluation session and equipment development.
    • Support in new production line setup and equipment buy-off.
    • Assist engineers to carry out continuous improvement projects.

    job requirement

    • NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
    • Preferably possess minimum 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
    • Must be comfortable to perform rotating day and night shift (rotated every 2 weeks) and perform overtime when needed
    • Experience in SMT, wirebond or automation (motion/vision control) will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge in ISO 9000/QS 9000 preferred
