In this role, you are working under the Singapore Manufacturing and Distribution team as a Production Planner. This individual will have primary responsibilities of managing planning activities as well as identifying and driving various process improvement projects. The individual will report to the Singapore Purchasing Manager and will work closely with other teams such as Planning, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance and Marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of production work orders.
- Coordinate, follow up and execute Oracle transactions to ensure raw materials and intermediates are available from start to completion of Finished Goods.
- Simulate the expected raw material shortage to prioritize specific work order(s) besides other work orders identified for raw material reservation.
- Support necessary meetings which require task status updates.
- Ensure that accurate information is communicated and there is a formal channel (minute meeting) for escalation if necessary.
- Ability to support simple purchasing activities.
- Ability to deliver quality work to tight deadlines, organized and agile in reacting to challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Take on any other duties assigned by the department manager.
skills & experience required

- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred. Diploma holders with more years of experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning or similar capacity.
- Meticulous, have an eye for details and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented and a service mentality to internal customers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Oracle is a MUST.
