Our client is a leading dealer and distributor of machines, engines and propulsion systems as well as sales and other services. They’re on a look out for a Project Engineer to join their team. This will be a 1 year renewable contract.
about the job
- Draw up main work program and follow up on project schedules
- Attend site meetings
- Sourcing and procurement of vendors for additional jobs on the project
- Maintain contact with customers / consultants on project progress and technical issues
- Liaise with Design Team for drawings to be submitted for discussion and/or approval
- Liaise with Workshop on installation, testing, commissioning and other work required
- Prepare test procedure and coordinate testing and commissioning
- Audit on installation and jobs done on the project
- Compile final documents for submission to customer
job requirement
- Minimum Diploma in Marine / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of Project Management experience in Data Center / Building Power Generation environment highly preferred
- Fundamental technical knowledge in the diesel power generation highly preferred
- Proficient in MS Office
- Willing to work in the West (transport provided at designated stations)
