Our client is a leading renowned provider of flow creation and industrial products such as air compressors, blowers and vacuums. They’re on a look out for a Project/Application Engineer to join their team during an exciting time in their development.
What you will be here for
- Provide support to the Applications / Sales & Marketing Group in terms of calculation, sizing, selection, pricing and preparation of Proposals for Nash Engineered Vacuum & Compressor System, Centrifugal Blower, Dry Vacuum Pump and Turbo Blower Packages.
- Analyze major inquiries (customer’s Process Data, Specifications, Instrumentations, Control Philosophy, Drawings and required Scope of Supply etc.), and prepare proposals
- Assist the Sales & Marketing Group in preparing Tender Document submission and attending Technical Sales meetings. Regional traveling may be required.
- Assist the After Market Group to analyze the requirement / specifications of Spare Parts and prepare the relevant Proposals.
- Coordinate with our USA / Europe / China / Brazil Head Office on our selection and pricing
- Coordinate with Vendors and / or our Project Group for Quotations on accessories and translate Costs into Selling Prices
- Assist the Project Group in providing Process Design, detailed engineering, specifications for procurement of process equipment
- Provide technical support with Sales Representatives and Distributor Offices
- Resolve any discrepancies between Purchase Orders, customer’s specifications, Quotations, and other information sheets
- Analyze and process Sales Orders, specify special equipment and review final Drawings
- Provide Quote Data / Status Report or other relevant Reports when required
- Manage the day to day project activities to support the commercial team
What you will need
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in applications or project management
- Experience in Air Compressors, Blowers or Vacuum Products is highly desirable
- Sales/Project Engineering experience with relevant mechanical engineering experience in rotating equipment and technical support for tendering can be considered as well
- Willing to work in the West
- Able to travel overseas as and when required
