about the job
Reporting into the Assistant QC Manager, this person will:
...
- Review and plan Job Orders based on priority and urgency. Support inspection when necessary.
- Recommend appropriate tests for Failure Analysis on Customer sample and/or Rescreening sample
- Chair Material Review Board and spearhead a cross functional team, including Production, Planning, Customer Service and QA.
- Perform chemical bath solutions analyses for Production Process Controls
- Perform Half etch test , Grain Size and Heat Treatment test in accordance to Workmanship Standard and specific customer requirements
- Replenish chemical consumables and arrange collection of Chemical laboratory wastes
- Arrange IMTE Calibration recall, monitoring and updating.
- Liaise with suppliers and/or HQ on new IMTE Development - planning, installation and commissioning
- Identify and select potential IMTE suppliers as per Supplier Qualification process
- Monitor and reviews IMTE, consumables and factory supplies' actual expenditures against planned budget
- Prepare Lab Test Report on the results of ad-hoc inspections and report to the management
- Conduct Training for Newcomers
- Participate in Internal Quality Audit program
job requirement
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Precision Engineering/Chemical Processing/Quality Management
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in metal fabrication, precision engineering, etching or tool & die industry will be an added advantage
- Familiar with Statistical Techniques and QC Tools (e.g. Fishbone Diagram, Why-Why Analysis, 3D/8D)
- Proficient with MS Office
- Good knowledge or hands on with SAP is an advantage
- Familiar with ISO 9001 Standard requirement. Understanding on ISO 17025 Standard will be an added advantage
- Willing to work in the West (Pioneer/Jurong/Joo Koon)
- Willing to work rotating day and night shift (morning: 6.45am to 4.15pm, night: 6.45pm to 4.15am, rotation every month)
