• Work with cross functional team on detailed electro-mechanical design at product level, sub-systems, modules and components level
• Support and review critical technical development related to electro-mechanical
• Support feasibility study on conceptual design for new products
• Resolve issues and improve product assembly with jigs/fixtures
• Ensure the product design and functionalities meet user needs, able to fulfil cost target and quality specifications
• Perform analytical studies, risk assessment, mechanical verification and validation on the product
• Oversee and co-ordinate design and production activities locally or with overseas partners
• Ensure proper documentation (design history file) and communication with internal and external suppliers, in compliance with quality management system and regulatory standards requirements

skills & experience required

• Msc / Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Robotics Engineering
• 3 years’ experience in design and development of electro-mechanical / robotics system
• Strong technical capability to develop, optimize designs for mechanical structure and electro-mechanical assemblies will be a plus
• Proficient in 3D CAD modelling software SolidWorks, in creating engineering drawings, applying GD&T, kinematic and dynamic calculations
• Good knowledge and experience in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis
• Good knowledge and experience in performing FEA and motion analysis and technical review of mechanism design
• In depth design experience in mechanisms , motorized motion , kinematics & dynamics analysis
• Willing & keen to work in a newly startup / setup environment
