about the company

The company is a bank that is enjoying good growth revenue which results in expansion globally as well as the Singapore office. They offer very attractive employment benefits even for a contract role. This vacancy will be a 1-year contract, renewable yearly due to lack of headcount. There may be an opportunity to convert to permanent in future should the headcount arises.

about the job

You will need to provide frontline customer service including screening and handling all calls to the company's main line, receive visitors and vendors and visitors and direct them to the right personnel and/or meeting room, and booking meeting rooms for staff as and when required. In addition, you will assist the Office Manager in catering and event management (including setting up of rooms) as and when required. You will be responsible for the general upkeep of the cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area, pantries and utility rooms. In addition, you will assist in travel and hotel bookings when needed. You will also help in electronic processing and filing of all invoices (scanning, serial numbering and channelling to relevant parties for processing and payment).

about the manager / team

You will report to the Office Manager and be part of a conducive office support team. There is a another Office Administrator to ensure that there is fron desk coverage duering lunch breaks and leaves.

skills & experience required

The ideal candidate is pleasant with an ever-ready smile, good working attitude and a team player. You will need to come with least 3 years of frontline and/or administrative experience, ideally gained within a professional firm or a corporate environment. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. You must also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, initiative and drive and the ability to work independently.
