    about the company

    My client is an offshore law firm headquartered in Europe and is very well established in Singapore. They offer the full spectrum of legal services to multinational and local companies across a wide range of sectors, covering projects in Southeast Asia and beyond.

    about the job

    In this role, you will be responsible to take care of front desk operations and liaise with external vendors and the building management team. You will need to attend to enquiries via the main telephone line, greet and show external clients and visitors to meeting rooms, take charge of the maintenance and availability of meeting rooms and arrange for courier services/receive deliveries when required. You will also be involved in other functions, such as Marketing and HR, where you will be required to help in the formatting and updating of the firm’s marketing materials, helping with the maintenance of lawyers’ profiles and firm’s credentials on the company website (in both English and Chinese) and assist the HR manager with on-boarding of new hires. Other tasks, such as preparing out-of-office emails, ordering of name cards and covering duties for colleagues who are away, will also be assigned to you as and when required.

    You will report directly to the HR/Admin Manager, and will work closely with the BD/Marketing Executive to provide excellent support.

    skills and experience required

    The ideal candidate should come with prior experience in handling receptionist/front desk duties and come with a good attitude to learn. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your tasks effectively. Being able to work independently, coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude, will contribute to your success in this role. Candidates should be proficient in Mandarin as it will be required of you to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders who are unable to converse in English and to do simple translation of marketing materials from English to Chinese, as well as update the company website in both English and Chinese.
