My client is a leading real estate company that is headquartered in Singapore and has expanded their operations to more than 35 countries worldwide. Their head office is located within CBD and they are currently looking for a Receptionist to join their team.
about the job
You will be responsible to function as the first point of contact at the reception counter and to extend quality service to all visitors and guests, including ordering of drinks from the in-house cafe for VIP guests. You will need to attend to calls from local and global clients, including counterparts from Mandarin-speaking countries, and will assist internal stakeholders to book event spaces/meeting rooms. Apart from receptionist duties, you will be roped in to support administrative tasks, such as processing invoices, checking phone bills and generating reports from the SAP system. Other administrative duties will be assigned to you as and when required, and training will be provided should a new task be delegated to you.
about the manager/team
You will report directly to the Manager of the team and will have another colleague covering you should you go on leave and vice versa.
skills and experience required
You should be tertiary educated and come with at least 2 years of administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a corporate office. You will need to be proficient in using Microsoft Office and be comfortable communicating in Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders from Mandarin-speaking countries who are unable to converse in English. Being a good team player with a positive attitude to learn, along with the ability to extend excellent service to internal and external stakeholders will contribute to your success in this role.
