about the company

My client, an expanding local conglomerate with global offices, is looking for a Receptionist to support the office in their general administrative matters.

about the job

As a receptionist-cum-admin assistant, you will be responsible for everyday general administrative matters such as file management, data entry, photocopying, shredding of papers and employees' access cards. You will be in charge of maintaining common areas and office supplies while in the office. You will be assisting in mailing, couriers and managing phone calls. You will tend the reception desk as well. Other ad hoc duties will be assigned to you accordingly.

about the manager/team

You will be working alongside another Receptionist and both reporting to an Office Manager. You and the other Receptionist will take turns working 2 different shifts weekly, 8am to 1pm and 1pm to 7pm.

skills and experience required

You should come with at least 2 years of front desk/office administrative experience. You must be personable, bubbly and proactive. Having good time management and a sense of urgency is a must. You should have good communication skills to facilitate information flow. As you will be working and supporting a team, you should be a good teamplayer and yet, independent to complete assigned tasks. Ex-Cabin Crews who are willing to learn and start a corporate office career will also be considered.
