*Up to SGD$160,000 base, excluding allowances

about the company

As the Regional Key Account Manager – Asia Pacific Travel Retail, reporting to the Regional Commercial Director – APAC, Middle East, Africa Travel Retail based in Singapore.

Your core role is to develop and deliver an accelerated growth strategy (Sales and P&L metrics) for these specific markets - SEA, Taiwan and Hong Kong through working closely with key customers, direct reports, and the domestic teams (supply chain, marketing, finance) to fully harness all key stakeholders behind the growth ambitions, within the travel retail arm.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and execution of the market strategy (SEA, Taiwan Hong Kong) to deliver executional and financial performance goals for the region.
  • Management of direct reports, overall supervision of the region and direct responsibility for management of Key Accounts
  • Monthly review of all P&L metrics with appropriate planning and interventions put in place to ensure achievement of company goals
  • Lead the strategy and agenda on Brand Ambassador efficiency and optimization across all relevant markets, which includes:
  • coaching and developing team to:
  • lead to brilliant execution of the Brand ambassador plan
    • to deliver a step change in executional improvements across all key sales drivers to ensure the firm’s brands are winning at the point of sales
    • Train and educate buying teams and in store sales staff (including BA’s) on our brand
  • Lead trading terms and price negotiations and implement changes with Key Customers
  • Develop annual in store promotional plans across brand activation platforms, marketing and price investment to deliver brand goals
  • Deliver on category management and trade marketing goals at Key Account and store level

skills and experience required

  • Min. 8-10 years experience in key account management – within the region SEA, Hong Kong, Taiwan
  • FMCG background is strongly preferred - Luxury, personal care cosmetics, confectionary, F&B sectors are very welcome to apply

  • Travel retail experience is most preferred and the preferred candidate must be highly entrepreneurial and numbers driven – strong Commercial acumen
  • Goal & results oriented
