Our Client is a MNC with global footprints and a leader within the sector they operates in. They are currently expanding the team with this additional headcount and an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team as an Accountant to oversee the full spectrum of finance and reporting function.
about the job
Reporting to the Regional finance manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions across General ledger, receivables and payables, preparing of balance sheet reconciliation, budget & forecast and profit and loss (P&L) analysis, financial and management reporting, GST and tax. You will assist the manager to perform the daily accounting duties and preparation of tax submission and statutory compliance matters. In addition, you will also be involved in ad-hoc improvement projects.
You will also partner with external consultant on tax matters and external audit. You will also support ad-hoc system and process improvement projects.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance/Economics or equivalent or relevant professional qualifications
- Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders from different background
- Good knowledge in Accounting standards and local statutory requirements would be highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, resilient and resourceful to operate with highest level of integrity
