Regional Assistant HR Manager (Up to $7000 X 13 months + VB)

Our client is a well established group of business with a rich heritage of over 100 years within the chemical manufacturing industry. They are one of the market leaders in what they do and has presence over 60 countries. Due to steady and constant expansion in the region, they are looking for a dynamic individual to join the HR team.

about the job

You will undertake the role of an Assistant HR Manager, handling the full function of a generalist role. You will business partner the corporate office in SG and around the SEA region. You will also ensure excellence service delivery on day to day HR related matters, ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day BAU. You will be someone who is a hands on HR professional who is willing to roll up your sleeves and work towards a common goal alongside with your Regional HR Director to meet business objectives.

  • Managing of recruitment from selection to on board, work pass application for new joiners across the corporate function
  • Handle day to day HR operation matters
  • Full cycle of on-boarding and off-boarding
  • Full cycle of payroll processing
  • Undertake HR projects in the region

about the manager/ team

Reporting directly to the Regional HR Director, you will work closely alongside him to meet business objectives in the Region covered by SG office.

skills and experience required

You will be diploma/degree qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 5 years of experience preferably in the manufacturing industry. You will be someone with excellent people skills when it comes to employees’ related matters and being adaptable to changes. You will also be someone who is versatile in handling people of all cultural levels and demographic backgrounds. Apart from the mentioned, you must be someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, ever-changing and fast pace environment with the desire to grow together with the organization. Regional experience will be an added advantage but is not a mandate.
