about the job
Based in Singapore and reporting directly into the Head of Business Development APAC, you will be responsible for the strategic marketing and sales strategies within the region. Some of the core responsibilities of this important role include:

  • Proactively drive and align regional strategic systems and processes for all commercial activities, supporting sales and margin growth for selected products and sectors (mainly Oil & Gas)
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders globally, to plan and implement initiatives aligning with the global direction
  • Develop local sales strategies, target segments, geographies and customers
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve and make informed decisions on forward planning and sales strategy.
  • Support APAC region on overall pricing initiatives, strategies and planning

skills and experience required
To qualify for the role, you should have more than 10 years experience in strategic marketing/business development/sales with strong experience in aspects of business development, product management or project management. You will ideally possess:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Highly driven and extroverted personality willing to go the extra mile
  • Relevant B2B business development experience in Oil & Gas industry or broader industrial products (such as pumps and valves etc.) would be a distinct advantage
  • Must possess a strong sense of business acumen and have significant experience in strategic marketing and business development
  • Project/Product management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to be able to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
