Job description
Reporting to the Regional Commercial Director based in SG, you will help drive sales growth by identifying areas for expansion and improvement in the SEA market.
- Responsible for managing and work closely with clients in SEA and South Asia, to bridge communication oversight and development of all projects
- Conduct SWOT analysis (Attractiveness v/s ability to compete) & translate the analysis into Market Segmentation, Selection and Strategy for categories concerned
- Track industry trends and identify gaps in the marketplace and translate them into business opportunities
- Conduct monthly business review and planning with key customers and principals
- Joint development and oversight of execution of marketing strategies to uphold brand image and expected standards
- Monthly monitoring of subsidiaries performance including sales, marketing spend, product off take, marketing effectiveness, execution of promotions etc
- Frequent travel to markets concerned to oversee progress of seeding initiatives
- Frequent travel to visit principals and suppliers for project progress & for new project induction or product launches
- Spend at least 50% of the time to explore new markets and visit existing markets.
The successful applicant
- Diploma, Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of commercial sales experience and experience in distributor management within the SEA market
- Prior exposure in managing / exposure to FMCG firms in India due to the customers being focused within South Asia.
- Excellent Commercial & relationship building skills and strong in numbers.
- Have knowledge of joint business planning coming from the FMCG industry
