about the job
Reporting remotely on the CFO for Asia & Europe, you will be the key finance leader to manage the full spectrum of finance controllership for Asia markets, including Singapore, Hong Kong and China. Supported by the in-country finance representatives and outsourced accounting service providers, you will be responsible for ensuring timely month end closing and financial reporting according to corporate and statutory requirements. Being a key finance business partner to the Asia GM, you will also drive budgeting, forecasting, analysis and management reporting activities to provide qualitative insights to business performance. As they continue to expand their business presence, you will continue to build the necessary team structure and capabilities, streamline the finance framework to improve controls and may also be involved in subsequent SAP implementation.
skills and experience required
You should ideally possess a degree in accounting and CA, with at least 8 years of finance controlling experience preferably with Singapore, Hong Kong and China coverage. Hands on experience with Sage and/or SAP will be advantageous. You are comfortable being hands-on in a lean team set up and independent in driving your tasks. You possess strong interpersonal skills to engage with business leaders and stakeholders.
