Our client is an established life science company with a presence in Asia. They are looking for an experienced HR Manager to drive its HR function for the region.
about the job
The role will report into the Head of HR based in Singapore. Working closely with the business units, you will:
- Manage key stakeholders across various business units to drive HR strategies
- Drive and support HR functions including business partnering, HR operations, performance management, salary review, budget and workforce planning, compensation and benefits, talent development
- Work with external vendors to support payroll and commission computations
- Develop, implement and improve HR policies and programmes in alignment to business objectives and local legislation
- Support other HR initiatives and regional projects
skills and experience required
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ of HR experience, preferably with experience in industrial relations / union
- Strong communication skills and relationship management
- Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore
- Independent and self-motivated
- Collaborative and a team player
