    Our client is a U.S. consumer electronics company, listed on the NASDAQ with presence globally across Asia, Europe and U.S. Within Asia-Pacific, they have offices across the main cities and are looking for a talented Regional HR Manager to sit within the APAC HQ in Singapore and support a regional portfolio.

    about the job
    The role will report into the APAC HR Director and manage Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea markets. In addition, you will be:

    • Managing end-to-end HR responsibilities including business partnering, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, compensation & benefits and operations
    • Lead talent acquisition and recruitment needs within your assigned markets; partnering with business leaders regarding potential employee recommendations, salary advise, future workforce planning
    • Monitoring and engaging commercial teams in performance review processes; working with the management team to resolve and mitigate any employee-related issues
    • Manage employee engagement regionally; driving a collaborative and positive culture and an open style of communication across all offices
    • Working closely with the Learning and Development Director and HODs to identify employee training and development needs


    skills and experience required

    • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
    • Minimum of 8 years broad-based HR experience; prior experience working for a listed MNC and / or U.S. company preferred
    • Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore, with prior experience managing regional markets
    • Strong end-to-end HR knowledge; track record as a business partner and generalist
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders of all levels effectively
    • Solutions oriented and strong problem solving skills
    • Strong HRIS experience is an advantage (e.g. Oracle, SalesForce, SuccessFactors, WorkDay etc)
    • Prior experience working in a SOX controlled environment is a plus
