    Our client is a global company in the retail industry with presence in more than 50 markets. They are looking for a talented Regional HR Manager to sit within the SEA HQ in Singapore and support a regional portfolio.

    about the job

    The role will report into the HR Director and manage Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Mexico markets. Working closely with the COE and Shared Services teams, you will:

    • Manage end-to-end HR responsibilities including business partnering, performance management, talent management, employee engagement, compensation & rewards, and succession planning
    • Work closely with key stakeholders across the region to define business strategy and drive people focus initiatives; supporting headcount planning, budgeting and forecasting
    • Drive a talent acquisition in line with business objectives, working closely with functional managers
    • Provide expertise in the areas of performance management; supporting functional managers in talent retention, coaching, data analysis, performance evaluation, development plan and management competence reviews
    • Improve HR-related framework, guidelines and SOPs to meet and anticipate business needs and market trends

    skills and experience required

    • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
    • Minimum 8 years’ HR experience within a HR Business Partnering portfolio
    • Strong communication skills and effective stakeholder management
    • Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore, with prior experience managing regional markets
    • Track record in partnering with business leaders to define new solutions and manage change
    • Strong organisational skills; ability to balance both a strategic and operational portfolio within a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment
