Job description
Reporting to the Commercial Director based in SG, you will help drive sales growth, market positioning and category management of your accounts within the APAC region (excluding China).
- Accountable for sales objectives and be in charge of defining and implementing the business plan, planning of sales targets and incentive program to achieve the aligned targets.
- Accountable for A&P spend - Product presentations to retailers/agents during meetings and trade events.
- Review purchase orders placed by retailers/agents and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth ordering/delivery processes.
- Review participation in retailers’ promotion initiatives.
- Review promotional mechanics with Team to ensure its performance and effectiveness.
- Attend to retailers’ queries and establish and maintain good relationships with them.
- Conduct store visits and checks on counter to identify areas of improvements or opportunities.
- Review in-flight listings with Team on performance and profitability.
- Ensure effective and timely coordination of commercial aspects to facilitate daily operational needs.
- Handle regional pricing checks and issues.
- Monitor & feedback on competitors’ activities and developments.
- Work with Design department on permanent counters production and the Training Department to ensure training for new product launches is arranged.
- Hiring of retail sales staff where applicable and motivate them to drive brands’ sales.
- Participate in regional/global trade events and seminars, where applicable.
Candidate Requirement
- Minimum 4 years of commercial sales, local or regional key account working experience within the FMCG, premium luxury sector
- Responsible, self-driven individual.
- An eye for details with good commercial acumen and strong organizational skills.
- Able to multi-task and adapt efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Traveling is required, approximately 20%.
