They are looking for a talented Regional Inbound Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist (Retail) to join their dynamic team in Singapore or Sydney.

about the job

As a Regional Inbound Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist (Retail), your key tasks involve:

  • Driving the delivery of product to meet new product launch dates, support successful replenishment in ensuring on-time delivery and receipt of finished goods to all regional warehouses
  • Support implementation of global logistics and distribution strategy that allows achievement of corporate growth and profit objectives
  • Develop, advice and maintain execution process for executing and providing visibility for all sample, visual merchandise and non-stock shipments for retail in South East Asia & Oceania (SEAO)
  • Help to maintain global visibility to events and circumstances in the SEAO supply chain that may impact retail operations
  • Liaising and working cohesively with internal stakeholders (after-sales, distributions, retails ops, finance, etc) and 3PLs to resolve all issues
  • Create, maintain and revise regional shipping guidelines and SOP’s for all destination countries in the SEAO region. Including procedures for booking and confirming inbound shipments with freight forwarders into the SEAO region.
  • Involved in sourcing, selection and development of 3rd party vendors to meet or exceed all target KPIs.
  • Conduct and participate in daily/weekly reviews and calls with all inbound shipments and/or resolution management
  • On a monthly basis, Support the enforcement of contractual obligations and the satisfaction of service level requirements by 3PL’s, customs brokers, freight forwarders and transportation providers.
  • On an annual basis, review and negotiate contract rates with forwarders, carriers, brokers and our global procurement team to select the best service options for SEAO.

skills & experience required

To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

  • Degree in Logistic & Supply Chain / Engineering / Business or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail supply chain / 3PL or trade consultancy
  • Good understanding in SEAO trade compliance /regulations
  • Willingness to travel
